@shortstories No one said orthodox, but it's Judaism, the rituals they practiced are all about the Jewish people (the people of the Kingdom of Judah), they even celebrated the Jubilee, where debts were canceled (hmm debts, I wonder who that reminds me of) or the Passover.
They were Jews, their culture is Jewish, it's not the Talmud, it's the Torah. It's not orthodox, but it's Judaism. No more coping.
