I hope that everyone doesn't take the Trump-Putin call as Russia cucking because from the summary I read, it sounds like they are merely opening the door to talks. No formal agreements have been made yet. Russia will stilll attack Ukranians, but they have agreed to pause strikes on energy infrastructure.
Nothing is confirmed yet; so, I don't want to hear any crowing about how Russia is champing at the bit to rejoin the West.
@DoubleD usa has no cards to play. No reason to be concerned. Also Russians did not forget how us guided misiles were flying into russia. There will be consequences.
@UncleIroh @DoubleD putin admited in the past that he was naive in trusting the west(europe particularly). that is no longer the case. also, if europe will want natgas in the future, they/we will have to pay for all the infrastructure. putin is done with europe in this regard.
@Justicar @UncleIroh I agree with your points. I simply do not want to hear people saying how Russia is clamoring to rejoin the West. It grows tiresome to listen to people grasp at straws to support their cherished desires.
