Thuggee (UK: /θʌˈɡiː/, US: /ˈθʌɡi/) were historical organised gangs of professional robbers and murderers in India. They were said to have travelled in groups across the Indian subcontinent.[2]

They usually murdered their victims by strangling using a handkerchief as a tool.[3] The Thuggee were believed to practice their killings as a form of worship toward the goddess Kali.[4]

@Gonzo17

I would not call murderers cool if I do not want to be murdered by a gang of murderers

@shortstories sorry I was being sarcastic those people are human filth.

@Gonzo17

I think there is a connection between the "Orthodox" "Jewish" Shekinah in the Kabbalah and the hindu worship of Shakti which is also connected to human sacrifice and Thuggees which is connected to the word thugs

@shortstories weren't supposed to have magic powers. And people are scared of them because of it. nobody messes with them because of .superstition

Wild. I feel ironically enlightened because I watched that. Wish the audio was better. So many opportunities for good audio samples.

Makes me think of the “polyamorous” groups that certainly exist today, like those people associated to FTX. And I’ve heard there are weird sex cults amongst the elites in the tech industry. And there’s bohemian grove. And P Diddy. The spookiest thing is that those most certainly are real and they have partakers that want to influence the entire world and can because they ain’t poor.
