@Mr_Mister It's a well known classroom exercise that teachers have performed thousands of times. It's not a peer reviewed study.
you can perform the experiment yourself. It always works the same way.
Reminds me of a class activity where teacher put us in groups and gave us instructions for a game and how scoring works but didn’t explain anything. The captains of each team huddled to figure out and strategize. I could see the only way to win the game was for all teams to cooperate. Otherwise each team loses points. I showed this and everyone agreed to so we could win.
1/2
The first team immediately went against what she agreed to, sabotaging the whole class. When we all lost, the teacher lectured about how everyone loses with competition, commie bullshit. Supposedly everyone should cooperate and everyone wins but the game itself shows exactly why that doesn’t work.
After class the Karen who lied about cooperating said bye really obviously trying to hide her embarrassment and left in a rush 🤣

It seems was a chain mail from the early 2010s and the study never happened in a practical environment. They tried but was never allowed, after all disproving socialism is a no-no.
