In modern times a high IQ is unnecessary for a quality life.
Also if your intellect doesn't protect you from taking poison what's the point?
To me a good life is:
Calm mind
Good career
Strong body
Good friends
A loving family
Couple hobbies
None of these require any extraordinary intellect.
They only require self-awareness, diligence, persistence, and patience.
