*By the way, the set design on the final scene for this episode is nearly a 1-for-1 copy of his room in the original DuckTales comic book. One of those easter eggs I mentioned. Like the giant coin from the first few episodes of the old series being a souvenir prop in his garage in this 2017 series from his previous adventures.
@RoninGrey I already know the plot - basically "Inspector Gadget" with Darkwing Duck as Gadget and Gosalyn as Penny. The guy will always screw-up and make false assumptions while his niece will do all the solving and basically show her uncle how much of a toxic male from the 1990s he is and it's time to move with the times...

As for Colbert... yeah... everything sounds wrong about it.
For fuck's sake. I just heard that Seth Rogen's company is making the Darkwing Duck remake. They had ass ideas for TMNT. Awful.
The 2017 DuckTales remake was made by real, legit fans of the original. You could see the love in the series. Even in the tiniest easter eggs, and in some retold storylines. Even the changes to some characters made sense because they paid attention to details.
Fuck Seth Rogen. I'd rather have seen the DW remake follow the new Darkwing character from DuckTales 2017.
