People see business owners the way women see men.
They only see the top 20% and ignore everyone else and it's so frustrating.
So I feel the need to set the record straight as I've been in business for almost a year.
1. Most business are SMALL. We don't have much runway. So stop ripping us off assuming we can take the hit, we cant.
2. If we seem greedy/cheap please see #1. We have no safety net so if we go under we're SOL. So we can't waste money.
TO be continued....
3. We DON'T pay less taxes than you, we pay MORE. Those special deduction don't do shit for nothing as a small biz
4. Stop asking us for free product/service/consultation. It's disrepsectful"
I don't ask you to do your job for free as it's an insult to your hard-won expertise.
5.If you want to work with/partner with me you better have a DAMN good pitch or don't bother.
6. I'm not ignoring you I'm always working. Even if I'm at some dinner you never know where the next client may come from.
7. You don't need to spend $ to support me. An honest google review or a recommendation means the world to a small biz owner.
8. PLEASE don't try to tell me how to run my business if you haven't done it. I know you're trying to help but most of the time the advice is useless. I also didn't go into business so I could be told what to do.
9. Try to solve problems with me 1st. Noone like being blindsided with some lawsuit/regulatory complaint or chargeback. Just emali me and I'll make it right.
@basedbagel 10. Stick to truck stops rookie tour not ready for the senate ass fucking circuit yet
