1 If you are forced to work at gunpoint or go to jail just for existing then the work you are doing is slavery
2 Property tax makes people be employed at gunpoint to pay off property tax just for existing because it is illegal to sleep anywhere without paying a fine with vagrancy laws & you have to pay property tax or rent which includes the cost of property tax that the person you are renting from pays just to have a place you can legally sleep in
3 In the current year employment is slavery
@shortstories If there is no system to choose freedom with selfemployment or creating business and forced to choose employment IMO this is slavery.🤔
But would employment be slavery in another time period if there was no property tax?
@shortstories I think if you have only option to be employet and no other options.
That would mean that you can't really choose and you are basically slave.
Like saying to slave you can either work for me or starve so "you are not slave and you are free to choose."
Are you really not slave when you have only one option to choose from.
and that would matter in every time period.
Like you can be hunter, gatherer or farmer.
But If I will give you only one option you are slave. IMO
If you are the only human on a island
Then you have to learn to work to get your own food or starve but no human is enslaving you
Property tax is different because it forces economic interactions with other humans
You could still farm and have no employer nor customer without property tax
But as soon as property tax exists then you must pay tax on the farm
In order to pay tax on the farm this requires to get money by having an employer & or customers
That is slavery to humans
@shortstories If you are only human on island you can basically do what you want so you are free.
Only thing that enslave you is WILL of this universe because you need to participiate in this world physical LAWS.
I think there is many ways that system can enslave you.
When there is thing where you need to participate and can't be left alone.
Like why there is no free land everything is owned by some governments that will not let you be free and force you to participate in their system.
