@Nudhul @lain @Sophistifunk the reason we use plastic is because an barrel of oil can only produce so much gasoline, diesel, etc. Plastic is a byproduct that we found a use for, but since we use oil for other things, it doesn't make sense to NOT use plastic.

this is also why Asphalt is made of oil byproducts as well. It's basically a form of recycling.

@bloggerski @lain @Sophistifunk @Nudhul you CAN burn plastic but it releases toxic fumes, so generally not worth it.
