Farm subsidies are always a touchy subject because most people are still under the impression that real value comes from the production of first order goods, not understanding that value comes from people's perceived self-interest. It matters not what you do: you have no moral claim to others' wealth nor a moral right to wail about others' wealth being taken from you, regardless of if that wealth is in transfers or in inflation.
