I was talking to an established plumber a few months ago about this very subject.
He can't get any Gen Z to apprentice for him and stay the distance. Their work ethic is absolute dogshit, entitlement is off the charts and they are very sensitive.
No sense of humor, short attention span and just very little desire to get ahead and achieve.
All his trade buddies have the same story.
It's a low-testosterone nightmare out there.
@UncleIroh Our generation is weird because it has many issues
For example me I grew up with computer was my entertainment, parent and teacher.
I would bet many gen z too had pc as their parents because they could give less f about you.
Schools are too behind when times have changes so education was lacking. Another thing that schools are not work so you get random knowledge but in job where you need to use more hands than brain it becomes problem.
@UncleIroh Many people live with image of past while gen Z have more clear picture and see how F is our economy average person will not save much for house or get to retirement.
This result in total not giving F and it is similar to chinese lying flat movement. So they basically disconect from system
Next thing we get so much information that can paralyze us and we need to learn more because times have changed and jobs are more complex than before.

I do get it. Maybe once upon a time the armed forces were a good choice for a young man to get out of his head and spend a few years learning how to do useful stuff, but not anymore. No way.
Trades are still a good option though. No women to fuck up the workplace, you get to hang out and learn from other guys and earn decent money with the chance to create your own business later on.
There are solutions.
@UncleIroh Saw this and reminded me your comment about plumbers🤣
All those ugly, bored, fat horny housewives itching to cheat on their husband.
The struggle is real.
@UncleIroh @Stahesh Brains fried by constant social media.
