A useful way to see how much inflation is directly fucking you in the ass is to think in terms of how much energy you can buy with your salary.

How many kwh can I buy with my salary?

There's massive variance by state, which is why this method is useful for each person.

If your salary goes up but the kwh price goes up faster you can see just how hard you're getting fucked.

Not for the faint hearted.

@UncleIroh I made over 40k for the 1st time in my life this past year, when I was in my mid, to late 20's I would've been squarely in the middle class, & in actuality I am living like I should've been in my late teens, early 20's by comparison, that's not an accident.

Unless you're Better Bachelor and have your own off-grid cabin on a patch of land, you're always going to pay your electricity bill.

No matter how much they charge, you have to pay it because it's impossible to live without it.

At least with this method you know to stay the hell away from Hawaii.

@UncleIroh Living on an island has it's pros & cons, electric grids are definitely a con.

@UncleIroh This is another reason to not live in cities.

For now, yes. It's our best bet. Maintain your body, weapons and resources.
