just saying if you want a big project it's different but c, pascal, basic is all simple sheeit meant to be mastered by somewhat intelligent individuals.

The language itself is very simple, but that means there is also very little hand holding once things get complex.
@brokenshakles@theorytoe@Volkish_Observer@tyler there's plenty of use cases for high level languages, it's about knowing what tool to use for the job. spending hours reinventing the wheel in C vs spending 3 minutes writing half a dozen lines of python in order to save 12kB of memory is sillymaxxing. but so is using python for a server that's expected to scale to handle thousands of clients and a billion record database.
