Fucked up story. It's clear that right now the UK beats Canada and Australia for authoritarian globalist bullshit.
But, also good to know that when you set up GrapheneOS with a decent password it's not easily cracked.
Sounds like he did the right thing and avoided using fingerprint access otherwise they would have been in his phone the moment he was charged.
The only way he could have avoided this would be to backup to USB and then reset the phone.
