Starting to really dislike the concept of immutable desktops (although my personal experience with them has been interesting and cool) because the people advocating for them are complete imbeciles who will drag the entire Linux desktop to the lowest common denominator stupid moron.
Go buy a Mac you fucking troglodytes. Don't come over to this side of the industry shrilling about "accessibility" for stupid people who don't know how computers work. I'll break and rebuild my entire system a thousand times for eternity, fuck you. "Oh, but you're 'gatekeeping'!" Good! I'm gatekeeping! I don't fucking care. Be it computing, Linux, Fediverse, anything else. Things shouldn't be made dummy simple for dummies. Spend some fucking time learning how things work if you want to use something. Ask for help, it's fine. ---But fuck you if you demand that everything change to accommodate your laziness and ignorance. That's not "accessibility".
