Whenever I think about "what is AI really good at", I keep coming back to this chart.

It seems to be best-in-class at convincing investors that it's gonna be the future...
Well, harms your ability to do the things you're offloading...

In theory, tools can automate the menial tasks and allow you to focus on being good at the high-value part - like formatting and grammar so you can think about content.

But technology is also often super corrosive and I think the Amish have the right idea WRT intentionally establishing rules about it's usage.
The problem is this doesn't stop at redundant menial tasks when every 5 seconds you have someone who really needs to start using their already atrophied brain typing into a prompt

This is that part.

It *can* be a force-multiplier, but you have to be disciplined about how you use it, and these types of tech are so new that there is very little culture around how they should and should not be used...
