Long story short - imagine a time portal that can take you to June 1st 1958 18:30 GMT-6. You can always go back to your time, but when you cross that portal again - it's always June 1st 1958 18:30 GMT-6 and you're rebooting the timeline. So you can steal money, run through that portal and then come back, the timeline is rebooted, but now you have the additional 1950s money on you.

So if you travel through this portal and stay in 1958 to live - you will become a boomer of all boomers.
Even if you know what's coming, by the time Nixon is running for the office you will vote for him. And you will feel entitled for everything (I suffered the 2020s, so this is my payback).
After living through 1960s, you will become the boomerest boomer who ever boomered.
