Unfortunately updates are only available via manufacturer unless you get a custom ROM.

Which they are making it harder to do.

The only reason I upgraded my phone 📱was for updates and I bought it used.

I now have xiaomi redmi 9 thx to brother who bought his phone and thx to his Tmobile he got xiaomi redmi 9 with it.

So he only wanted from me to buy him protective glass on his phone.

I do not see reason to spend much on phone.

When I only use it for calling or messaging basic stuff and use it for watching videos, listening to music and visiting websites.

So these can be easilly done with cheapest cellphones on the market.

You can either come clean with your parents and have one or really work to live by yourself somewhere cheap.
You would be surprised how little money you need when you don't have a girlfriend or must go out chasing whores every week. Just learn how to cook and do the proper maintenance of the doll, you can pretty much survive on pennies.

@Stahesh @Zeb @basedbagel Washing clothes is easy in a typical laundry mat, even easier if you already have a machine in your house/apt, just segregate whites from coloreds, make sure to use proper amount of cleaning chemicals so you don't destroy your clothes, & they don't irritate your skin.

Don't forget the timing. You gotta pick them out of the machine quickly, stretch and set them up to dry as soon as it's finished.
Also properly fold them and put them away orderly to keep them organized in piles. It makes all the difference in having your clothes looking like new for a long time.

@Zeb @basedbagel @Stahesh You'll have to learn about certain materials that require air dry, vs machine drying, & clothes that only can be dry cleaned(usually business/fancy shit), it isn't too complicated, trouble is finding well made clothes that turn to shit no matter how careful you are.
