As TFM correctly pointed out in the Weds show, blacks are also a founding stock of America. They're not going anywhere.
Without the 14th passing in 1868, freed slaves would have effectively been stateless non-citizens, since they no longer had any connection to their obscure origins.
If they refused to let politicians use them to grow the state and divide everyone, they could actually grow up and be useful, productive citizens instead of Walmart Haitians.
