I was talking with a normie about if we didn't have our health benefits tied to our employers we would be paid more and it would be cheaper.

He agrees but says "Yeah but I really like my benefits though."

This is why all debates are a waste of time.

Even if people agree with you they won't do anything about it unless it threatens their life.

Just another reason I'll be leaving th country soon.

@basedbagel So I find power and having an HSA of my own not controlled by company I can donate to it every year at tax time and not pay taxes on that money like seven grand

@Scubbie Good choice!

I don't really have that option but it's good that you took advantage of that.

Our health care system is so fucked

@basedbagel Maybe you can find an HSA to invest in that works globally along with your second passport and if you have to come back here to the US for surgeries or specialities they will work here as well if you can’t find a product that does this create one

@basedbagel The problem is the tax deduction works only in the United States

@Scubbie I'll definitely look into that.

I wish I could just get more $$ I can spend on anything instead of benefits that expire but thats okay.

I'll probly just find a country with health care that isn't fucked

@basedbagel Nomad capitalist says Malaysia koala Lumpur has good health care but you won’t be able to use a American HSA there and tax deductible you may be able to use the funds for healthcare there but we need to make sure the plan has that option an overseas option and if you want to be a PUA and go buy yourself a chin in turkey
