Women are not disturbed that this will take some men off the market, since they view such men as beneath them anyway. Women are disturbed that men would be satisfied by this. They are disturbed that men would think this is what a girlfriend amounts to.
In some cases it is true. Some men do just want a someone to have sex with. But I don't think it's true for me or even for the vast majority of men. Men have been demoralized into these very low expectations.

For many women, this is all they really can offer. So many of them have abandoned being feminine and have no practical skills that would make for a competent wife and mother. Men see this and respond by giving up the idea of a marriage and family. Yes, many men will choose the hedonism route as well as a response, but that is one form of adaptation to the changes in society.
