I do have some admiration for Nigel Farage. He had a concrete objective he wanted to get done, and it actually was achieved. So many other politicians never reach their goals, either due to incompetence or because they only wanted to grift off of those who genuinely want to achieve the goal.
Brexit did not make the UK stop doing many of the same retarded policies that are found in many other EU countries, but Farage did what he set out to do.
@houseoftolstoy The proEU politicians are so upset about it that they'll just copy and paste those same policies just to spite the pro brexit people, regardless of merit.

Just like the war machine, the goal of the politician is to string out the grift for as long as possible.
Achieving actual results threatens the model.
