@kaiservenom the early existentialist philosophers like Stirner and Nietzsche would have greatly benefitted from eastern philosphy like Zen, Taoism, and Advaita Vedanta to help round things out, but sadly they lived at a time when such texts were only first beginning to be sloppily translated into western languages.
The only western philosopher who embraced eastern philosophy was Schopenhauer, but he only knew Indian Buddhism, not Zen Buddhism, and obsessed over suffering.
