@sardonicsmile the degree is not the experience it is just a degree, you still need to start at the bottom of the ladder and climb up, basically the first 2 yrs your pay is shit but after that you are good to go

There is NO point trying to explain to her what it takes to win those gigs. Moreover what you have to sacrifice to maintain and perform competitively at those gigs. You will have NO LIFE. You will barely have time to do groceries/laundry/gym/errands.
