We have a saying: Military is "college for the poor". Wealthy men NEVER allow their children to Enlist.
It should be a sign of shame that a "father" allows their son to Enlist. He has not provided options for him. The Govt uses propaganda to make us perceive the Military as "Patriotic" and "Respected". We call it the "career of last resorts". Ironically, the guys who complain the most are the ones wo ReEnlist.
