Allegedly
13 year old Native American Indian girl steals car, is chased by the police being thought to be a possible drunk driver and gets in fatal car crash
This video is amazing. I watch a lot of these, and typically when cops approach the car they have been pursuing, they SCREAM: "SHOW ME YOUR FUCKING HANDS, YOU DUMB FUCK".
But here, in a kind Minnesota accent, "Sheriff's office, are you okay?"
@RichardJohnson @shortstories He was asking "are you okay?" because they should have terminated the pursuit.
All individuals involved are culpable. A pursuit is balanced with the public safety and other factors that may endanger the public; even the seriousness of the crime.
Just some random female who committed Grand Theft, with a troubled history.
No big loss.
If it were a male kid, they would have opened fire.
@sardonicsmile @RichardJohnson
Allegedly they believed it was a male who was drunk driving I am guessing by the license plate and did not know it was a female who stole the car based on stuff I thought I heard when skipping around the video without watching the whole thing
I think they claimed they believed it was a male who was under 18 but old enough to get a drivers license
Yes. Vehicle was registered to a Gentleman and *his* son was using it.
The female *stole* it.
She wanted to go back to her biological parents whom she was taken from by Child Protective Services.
She is a troubled youth and probably no hope of recovery.
No big loss.
Feel bad for the man; now he needs a new car.
@shortstories @RichardJohnson Agreed. On that point, he is correct and right. As high as they score on the IQ metrics they are a lost cause when it comes to adapting/adjusting to modern America. Just like the Blacks. Victims of welfare, perhaps, but incapable of surmounting their circumstances, despite aid/welfare and protections. I've encountered them on work projects; on the Reservations. Crude, unclean, and unsavory lot, they are.
@shortstories perhaps that was a sweeping generalization. The Native Americans I saw outside the reservation can be civil and well adjusted. Nevertheless, they all had a disdain for non Native Americans. Quite evident in their passive aggressive behavior and silent revulsion. They.are deeply put off that their tribal lands have been taken over. The younger ones try to adjust but seems the older ones, some have a burning anger to non Americans. They must have researched the history...
@jmw150 @shortstories @RichardJohnson Well, that is an overstatement. The Native Americans are NOT under the jurisdiction of police. They have their own Enforcement body they are the Tribe Police or Tribal Law Enforcement. HUGE contempt between the two agencies. Tribe Police have authority over local cops and they HATE that.
@sardonicsmile @RichardJohnson
Have you noticed Native American Indians being more polite, more hard working and better behaved whenever you met them and they were not living in the Indian reservations?
