@sardonicsmile

So much time, effort and money wasted on trying to force open a path that leads to a culdersac or dead end

The path going through the intersection of Africa, Europe, the middle East and Asia near where Israel is and the Panama Canal are much more valuable than the drad end strait of Hormuz because they do not lead to dead ends and let ypu bipass a far greater travel distance when traveling through water

Did you ever think that they don't want it open ? Oil goes up it becomes profitable for American oil companies to sell. It takes 4 to 6 months for fracking oil to start producing once it starts why would they want to stop ? Iran shows the world the strait of hormuz is dangerous and volatile. Order from them and yeah it's cheaper but will you get the shipment ?
