English have a reputation for being bad at cooking
Multiple people have told me that they have a theory England colonized other countries to get better food

They did not have good tasting food ingredients that grew in their island & they did not know how to cook well
So they had to get better ingredients from other countries & force people to teach them how to cook better
They mostly failed to learn how to cook better but will important immigrants to get better food variety instead of just training in the cooking skills while visiting another country & not importing the immigrants
People ask how do the immigrants help you?
They say we get better food variety
They could have just learned to cook from foreigners without importing immigrants to run restaurants but that was not the choice they made
