Could have gotten married at 18 years old & not have had to dealt with waiting for many years past 18 years old

But thanks to the current clown world social expectations, getting married "too young" is considered an awful thing to do, as you should "enjoy your youth and explore" before settling down. Of course that just leaves the door open for premarital sex. And that is no accident, but rather by design.

Because of the way divorce is structured people figure they must choose the right person the 1st time they get married
In the old testament Exodus 21:2-6 there was a system by which people could be temporarily married & a 3rd party would have child custody
If people who would want to have premaritall sex instead just getting married & divorce if it does not work & reproduce earlier that would raise birth rates
Divorce laws would need to be changed

In Exodus 21:2-6 two servants of the same master or employer get married
The servant could end their employment or servitude & the marriage would terminate
The woman servant and the child would then be managed by the master
No child support payments for women or former male servant but only for master
