Ok I think when you upload a video to youtube shorts then it automatically sets it to something similar to "portrait" instead of "landscape"
This might happen no matter how you format the video before uploading it to shorts and this might have caused the text to cut off on the right side of the screen
Your regular videos are like landscape but your shorts like portrait
I had to scroll all the way back down to this video days ago to confirm my suspicion
I am still not sure
Supposedly shorts get more views in the short run but do not influence people to click on your channel to watch more videos as frequently
If I watch something in shorts then I have difficulty clicking on the channel it came from before they automatically switch to another video from a different channel preventing me from clicking on the original channel
@shortstories in the long run video is better because you also need 4000 hours of watch time.
