Our problem is that we take systems that work perfectly on the scale of city-states or tribal confederations, then fail to adjust them or split them apart as they scale up.

So we end up with absurdities like "kings" ruling millions of people they have no kinship ties to or "republics" where there is no cohesive public to represent.

Once things scale beyond our ability to control it's easy for jews to move in and start bribing their way to the top.

Local corruption is less harmful tgan federal corruption because you do not have to move as far to escape

The current systems are holding back the corruption without the current system people could discriminate against serving clients who had homosexual sex with 100 people in a year and who for no apparent fault of their own have diseases

They're not wrong, it probably would, but I'd rather have to deal with a corrupt petty official two doors down rather than one in Washington who doesn't even have to know my name.
