Sure you would not need to do work for a customer or employer in order to make money if you did not have to pay property tax
But if you do not pay property tax who will fund the roads
And if the roads are not funded then how can you drive to another location to make money to pay for property tax
It is not like people invented flying machines that do not use roads

You can get small packages delivered by flying drones.
& it would be cheaper to pick people up by helicopter in case of a medical emergency and put out fires by a fleet of drones with water then to fund the entire system of roads
Roads are also bad for the environment
I like sidewalks but all that road space could be used for gardening so each person has their own garden to grow food to reduce reliance on the employment system

This is the conundrum homeowners face.
Renters still pay property tax because the landlord pays property tax then the landlord has to increase the price of the rent to cover the cost of the property tax
