If no light can escape a black hole then how can a black hole emit light?
I would just say it is a star if there is light coming from it and not call it a black hole
Also I assume that most of astronomy other than predicting where you will see lights in the sky with a telescope that a common person can afford is fake
So are you saying that at a certain distance from a black hole an object effected by a black hole can emit extra light that it would not have otherwise emitted because of the black hole and that this light is too far away to be stopped from escaping by the black hole but light closer than that distance can not escape?
