@37712@dander I would not say that for sure. Most people in Japan (and much of the 1st world) have never had a perspective different than what had been in place since the end of WWII. The very idea may be unthinkable to most people who grew up in a world where "equality" is the most important value. A select few may know this, but I doubt many in leadership roles have this in the back of their mind with the world the grew up in.
