@marlathetourist I think the father was smart and you would do well to learn, I have a sister who is also a drug addicted mess so I will talk from experience. This girl is more than willing and happy to force ppl to do what she wants by causing a scene and playing the victim card, since her father does not want to do what she wants she wants him to get physical with her and forcefully kick her out of the car so that she can call the cops on him and play the victim card.
@marlathetourist she is more than happy to fight her father and really do physical damage since she can claim that it was in self defense. In any case the father goes to jail and she probably gets to keep the car for a joy ride. The only smart choice for the father is to call the cops and have her fight the cops and she cant fight the cops bc her plan was to use the cops to fight her dad. So her only option now is to plead with the cops and fight them since she is in the wrong in this situation.
@marlathetourist I am not so sure of it being an epidemic of entitled children getting what hey want but more of an epidemic of parents not being allowed to parent their children or being told by "experts" to not parent their children or to parent them in meaningless ways that dont positively help their development in to adulthood. today a parent is not allowed to do anything else other than to lightly span their child if they dont behave, kids are not trusted to even have matches or lighters.

@37712 the current epidemic of entitled children growing up to be entitled adult children is the direct result of lack of discipline from either the mother or father. The dad is getting exactly what he deserves.
