Just thinking: The average age of Ukrainian soldiers is 45 yes. Imagine struggling for 40 yrs as a bottom 80% of men, you get Conscripted, and because you have no Hard Skills they shove a rifle in your chest and sent to the trenches; only to get droned by a Zoomer who just happens to be good with a controller. And NOONE cares because you have no wife, children, and your parents are passed.
This is coming to the US, I feel...

Going along with conscription is the problem. You'll be jabbed to your ears before they even send you to fight, so deserting isn't going to get you far. The only option is (and always was) non-compliance. You're dead either way and you won't live long enough to see a free nation regardless, might as well fight for something you actually believe in and go out with a clean conscience knowing you did your best. Just saying.
