Meh, it's not like denying her the marriage would prevent the dog from being abused. If the woman was a gentile, I doubt he cares. But if she's part of their community, then it only says bad things about them.

Someone who identifies as Jewish told me a ( Renewal ? )Rabbi married a woman to her dog and that the Rabbi did not really want to but the woman donated a lot of money
And he said it was good for the synagogue or congregation to do that because it got so much money
And he made it sound like he was helping out the community rather then making it sound like the Rabbi was greedy and taking the money for himself
