Recently I found out that it's illegal in almost all states to defend yourself from an illegal arrests.

The 20-year-old student was indicted on 3 felonies: 2 felony counts of assault on a police officer and 1 felony count of attempting to commit tampering with evidence. He pled guilty to the attempting to commit tampering with evidence charge (a felony). The other 2 charges were dismissed. He was sentenced to 5 years of probation. He also agreed to pay $200,000 to the female police sergeant who broke a bone in her hand.
