Today I was getting some things in town, and I saw a female in the market who possessed a cute face. I wanted to complement her, but I realized how many things could go horribly wrong simply because I wanted to express my appreciation for aesthetic features I found pleasing. It irks me that I must suppress my wholesome expressions and appreciations because this society is afflicted with the cancer of egalitarianism and is suffering its follow-on symptoms.

@DoubleD - It's the little things that drive the larger point home.

I would bet money that her personality was as off-putting as her appearance was pleasing (once scratching the surface). But imagine: under patriarchy she would probably be pleasant to be around too. 🍻

@YoMomz Under patriarchy, it'd have been a different situation, yes. If her guardian was her father, I'd likely have complimented him on having such a pretty daughter. For now, I will simply appreciate the human form from afar.
