It gives amazing insight into the incentive differences between the profit and bureaucratic methods of management.
It helped me understand why the operation of government bureaucracy is as it is and why in some ways it must be the way it is.
There is no solution to "fix" bureaucracy as it is merely a method of management. There are only means to limit the potential for corruption and arbitrary rule within it.
