Normies have completely forgotten what actual poverty looks like. Volga Boatmen is an old Russian folk song that was sang by very poor Burlaks that pulled ships up the Volga river. They literally put giant leather straps around themselves and pulled entire ships upstream. These people were so incredibly poor it was cheaper for captains to pay a bunch of them to do the work of what a fraction of horses/mules could do.
Imagine being paid less than a Donkey for your entire life.

@Tfmonkey Note that despite the redistribution rate of wealth via taxation has increased by approximately 300 percent since 1962, people are poorer and still want more welfare.
