The reason antifa, blm, wokenes are so strong is simply because people want to belong. Their counry is not homogenous so they felt alone their whole lives. So when opportunity to become a part of a large group presents itself, people are very susceptable to join in order to feel like they belong. It is that simple.

the business model of discord is quite genius. instead of paying for server and per user basis. users themselves pay and servers are free. it makes so much more sense than slack, which is dying out because of it.

@ButtWorldsMan at that age, those kids just fell out of her :D

@DicusMaximus he should not be crying in the bed though. he should be telling everyone on the internet that he has insomnia :D

this is such a great example of a society, it's not even funny how accurate it is. you simply cannot have a democratic society be successful. it will inevitably destroy itself.

all success in life is pure luck. you can increase your chances by doing some things or being in some places, but luck is luck and that's that.

@Lorgar @mutageno2 it's MUCH cheaper to build this way. it's not about style but money and efficiency. look at modern cars and compare with the old ones made in the 70s and older. the reason they look today like they do is mostly safety and industrial manufacturing. even if you remove safety, shaping metals like the old cars had would require specialized equipment or manual labour. not everything is a conspiracy. try running a business, see how "easy" it is.

not only they don't make shows like this any more, but look how people dressed back then and compare it with today. it's mind-boggling how far the society has let itself go. and it will not get better, only worse.

i have realized that when you have +1/-1 global score for your posts, like on hacker news, it incentivizes you to behave in a way that "earns" you the points. quite evil.

One of the most important political meetings in human history, certainly in modern human history, the BRICS meeting in Kazan, is taking place in mere week. Before this month is over, the world will change for ever.

i have been hearing about ukraine's military collapsing for two years now, yet the conflict is still ongoing. all these talking heads are just that. but, one has to be reminded that ukraine is running on 30% electricity since Q1 or Q2 of this year and there is no way they will survive winter. So i expect they will surrender around christmas, before the worst weather hits in january and february.

@RegalBeagle @caekislove exactly what i have been saying how wokenes is taking over tech communities and killing them off.
i do primarily Go and they had a big banner on the Go language website supporting BLM and anyone who complained was told to just use adblocker. i got passed it and simply ignore the community and just use the tool. nowadays Rust seems to be the worst case from what i am hearing and seeing. luckily i never liked that language.just use the engine and ignore the weirdos.

@Based_Accelerationist besides that, EU has been strangling countries with quotas, so all that german powerhouse crap they have been spewing for years now is complete nonsense because germans make everything elsewhere(like their cars in hungary, slovakia, poland..) and they pay no taxes in exchange for employing people.

@Based_Accelerationist there will be some kind of collapse of EU and NATO within 10-15 years. Though it seems things are accelerating like crazy by each day, so who knows, it might take only 5 years. By allowing USA to blow up Nordstream(Scholtz new ahead of time) and cutting itself from the eastern markets and commodities, Europe has signed its own death penalty. The reaper will take its time, but he'll come. And that will be good because nationalism will be able to take roots again.
