@RegalBeagle it's hard to pity the UK due to their imperial history. france, spain,.. all the same. they are getting what they deserve. it makes me wonder though whether all former empires fell for the same reason - open borders.

what if we were born and lived our entire lives in european ethnostates, but that is now over and we will never see it again? i mean, post WW2, things were different. historically european kingdoms were constantly shifting, ethnicities were also moving around. so what if we had this period of ethnic calmness and uniformity after WW2, but that is now gone and we have to learn to live like a broken anonymous society? what if the best racial, ethnic and societal times are behind us?
