the ruling class is literally laughing in our faces
despite what biden's foreign politics did to usa in the long run, ukraine will still be the biggest loser of the 21st century. although israel still might be able to top it in few years 🤞
or to put it in other way, the government takes control over 66% of ALL your money.
this is why socialism is a shit system:
say you make 1_000€/month. you pay 20% income tax, 20% social security and 10% healthcare insurance(all mandatory in EU, numbers just just for nice rounding). so you now have 500€. then you go buy something(food), so you pay 20% income tax for the seller and then 20% VAT directly to the state. so out of 1_000€, now you have 320€ of real purchasing power. meaning, you work for free two thirds of your entire working life.
i think that children should be required to choose whether they want to be an employee(=stability), businessmen(=freedom) or self-employed(=mix) before they leave for college. it would save them so much wasted time.

@YoMomz i'm not in the uk. an no, there were never any hallucinogens in absinth., all the myths are coming from drunks when people did not dilute it as they should have. and the myth about green/dancing fairies comes from a substance in absinth that when being diluted produces shiny cloud effect. as i have said, all made up. i got this straight from a guy that makes and sells alcohol on a medium scale and who is writing a book about it becuase absinth specifically is kinda his passion.
i don't play games but was watching movie reactions for harry potter and kinda entertained the thought of playing hogwarts: legacy. and it was on sale so i bought it. one thing i want to say is that the attention to the details of the clothing i absolutely amazing. i love how i can see the texture of the material and how it looks like real clothes people wear. especially it being the style it is in the games.
