So what I'm seeing is that I can safely assume any instance that uses "mastodon" or ".social" is likely full of people I never want to see or hear from and can block their domains. Cheese and crisps what a bunch of dumb dumbs and nuts.

@N_Y_SparkyOxCable correct. Though I choose not to block them as I find it useful to have a window to the perspectives of people who have pretty much the opposite of all my viewpoints.
@houseoftolstoy I can understand that. For me though I feel like I already know how NPC's think. They're all around me. The majority of the world. Instead of a window it's like a full glass wall that shows me clown world.
@N_Y_SparkyOxCable That's exactly where I end up. "Poa.st" profiles are about half and half, maybe, or a 3/4 split. You'll have to make the call after a few experiences / interactions.
