I found some elongated skulls in a tiny museum in Peru!

These skulls are from the Paracas civilization that existed before the Nazca.

The Nazca did not practice skull elongation, but they did make necklaces out of the Paracas skulls.

It was extremely difficult to take these photos. The display case was the only one in the museum that was not internally lit, and there were bright lights facing the display. It took me 30 minutes, and all of my skills, to take these pictures. #PhotosbyRobertR
