@monsterislandcolonizer Flip phones and smart phones run very similar proprietary carrier firmware that spies on you. Flip phones make for a cheap burner, but have no illusions that they spy on you any less than a smart phone. For phone privacy, I highly recommend using LineageOS or a similar FOSS ROM.
