Fallout its dead, normies got it. They will ruin it, and later fly to another thing we like.
New vegas was closer to the originals than anything bethesda has shat out, and Tales of Two Wastelands combines NV and 3 together (Basically turns Fallout 3 into DLC for NV). But yeah, they changed genre away from turn based since 3.
I'd argue since brother hood of steel.

In order: Bos > 4 > 76 > NV > 3 for me
@Sui @RodrickSage @shortstories I enjoy all the Fallout games besides their flaws but the best og type Fallout game in years was Wasteland 3 which is a top 10 game to me

@Sui @RodrickSage @shortstories Skip 1 and 2 go straight to Wasteland 3 it is top tier and the expansion are decent. I pirate everything but Wasteland is worth a purchase tbh

Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 and possibly Fallout Tactics the first 2 or 3 games can still be played
After that the games are totally different as far as I know
Those three have the view from above and are turn based
After that as far as I know it looks like a first person shooter and is not turn based
I do not know if fallout tactics is any good
