And it hit me; white rice is one of the fasted to digest and fasted to burn, what if that the secret? they hardly gain fat cuz, they mostly eat food that digest quick and burn the fasted, in and out. and we do live in a society where; we eat like every two to three hours. Asian mostly eat rice, and they can add a raw egg or boil an eggplant, meats it's like a banquet for them, the meats that the stomach digest quickest is chicken and turkey, they are in and out.

I have met fat Asian people who eat white rice
These fat Asian people eat adfitional food that would make you fat
The secret is not that the food is digested fast but that you have to eat a lot more rice than most people are comfortable eating in order to get a certain number of Calories or more
The main sources of obesity are added sugar & added fat & combined with not enough exercise
Skinny Asian people do not add much sugar and do not eat much meat nor dairy nor added fat
If you exrercise enough and do not artificially add more fat or sugar then is naturally in food it is difficult to become morbidly obese
Since they cook their own food without added ingredients it is hard to get obese
The ones that are fat eat food with added ingredients bought at stores

If you eat 8 cups of cooked rice that rounds to 2000 Calories
8 cups is a lot of rice
On the rice they put a small amount of meat or eggs & vegatables
Vegetables which are probably less than 100 Calories for the entire day when combined
Maybe they will have 6 cups of rice at most in the entire day adding up to less than 1500 Calories
Maybe the total will be less than 1600 Calories before meat & eggs
The reason they are not more skinny is they are short

but rice is still a low carb food, that is easily digestible and quick to burn off. and like you said 8 cups is a lot of rice. mostly we would three or four cups of rice with maybe some chicken, egg or most vegetables. and still burn all does calories on their own.
@shortstories the point here is, foods that are fast to digest and burn off is better in a society that eats every two to three hours.
cuz eating a steak will be in your stomach more than three hours.

Rice has most of it's Calories from Carbohydrate so in that sense it is not low Carb
But in order to eat a lot of Carbs you would feel very full so in that sense it is low carb becahse it is low Calorie for how full you feel but whole wheat or oatmeal would make you feel even more full than rice with an even smaller amount of Calories and slightly more protein per Calorie
The problem with wheat and oatmeal is you well feel sluggish when exercising or working studying or thinking
