It is said that the Lone Star State is attempting to ban anime through the recent Texas Senate Bill 20.
This is yet another example of the modern American judicial system imposing yet another act of anarcho-tyranny, a political condition where the government is simultaneously ineffective at enforcing laws against criminal—or what should be criminal—behavior and overly oppressive against law-abiding citizens.
The way it works is the law is written as vague as possible to allow the judge to have a complete range of interpretation as to what constitutes an offense. The way the legal system works is why Donald Trump was charged with 40 offenses.
Obviously the state of Texas will not be banning anime anytime soon, as such a ban would simply be impossible to enforce. However, what it does mean is that if the State of Texas or any other state with similar laws decides that you are a threat, they have yet another option to put you away in jail for any number of years if they find an anime girl picture (let’s say of Asuka) on you.
However, I am certain that 95% of right-wing dissident fedi-users have committed some sort of “crime” (i.e. criminal hate speech) on this site according to some faggot kike nigger judge—this means me! So no worries; just keep all of this in mind if you get doxxed or go public for some misguided reason.
